San Diego, CA – Sept. 29, 2003 Bekaert Specialty Films (BSF), a world leader in solar and safety window film manufacturing, today announced the appointment of Christophe Fremont as the company's new General Manager. He will be responsible for directing all aspects of BSF's operations, including research and product development, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and finance.
Fremont comes from BSF's parent company, Bekaert, where he most recently served as Vice President Worldwide Sales for Uni-Solar, a former Bekaert joint venture. Prior to Uni-Solar, Fremont held various executive-level sales and marketing positions at Agfa Corporation, most recently General Manager for Agfa's Consumer Imaging group in Europe . Fremont replaces company President David Fletcher, who resigned in mid-September. Fremont will be based at BSF's headquarters offices in San Diego.
