Global Leader in Solar and Safety Films Now Compliant With Latest ISO Revisions

Bekaert Specialty Films (BSF) today announced that it has received ISO 9001 certification for achieving the standards associated with the implementation of a high-quality management system within a manufacturing organization. Managed by the International Standards Organization (ISO), the “ISO certified” title is recognized throughout the world and represents a company’s solid commitment to delivering the highest-level of quality and customer service.

Originally certified under the 1994 ISO revisions, Bekaert Specialty Films re-applied for compliancy in order to achieve the standards associated with the year 2000 requirements. The re-certification process began in the fourth quarter of 2003 and was complete by the end of that same year.
The standards associated with the year 2000 revisions allow Bekaert Specialty Films to establish performance metrics in a variety of outwardly focused areas, all which directly address the level in which the company is servicing its customers. Bekaert Specialty Films’ performance against established metrics will be audited by Perry Johnson, Inc.
