Bekaert Specialty Films (BSF), a world leader in solar and safety window film, today announced the appointment of Brian Goad as the company’s new Director of National Sales and Distribution. In his position, Brian is responsible for all aspects of BSF’s window film product sales within the United States , including sales through the 10 BSF-owned and operated service centers and through all other distribution channels carrying the product to market.
“Brian’s proven ability to lead an organization toward accomplishing sales objectives nicely complements his deep understanding of the window film market,” said Jeffrey Plummer, vice president of sales and marketing, Bekaert Specialty Films. “He’s a strong addition to our team and now is the ideal time for him to join, as we look toward further growing our business and satisfying the needs of commercial and residential window film customers nationwide.”
Brian brings more than nine years of experience in the film market to his new position, including time spent in product development and global marketing roles. Brian previously held the position of director of sales for Bekaert Specialty Film’s Industrial and Display Products Division and earlier worked for GE Plastics in its Structured Products Division. Brian holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
